Practice Appointment Policies

Due to the high demand for appointments please note the following :

New patient appointments:

Please note that failure to attend your initial consultation will prevent the scheduling of future appointments, and any deposits paid will be retained.

Late policy:

Please be aware that arrival more than five minutes past your scheduled time may result in the need to rebook your appointment. If rebooking is required, the original appointment will be documented as a ‘failure to attend’.

Failure to attend policy:

If a patient has failed to attend or short notice cancelled (within 24h) 3 or more appointments this will result in no further appointments offered at the practice.

Private treatment:

Please note that private treatment appointments requiring a deposit must be cancelled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Deposits are non-refundable for short-notice cancellations, and the failure-to-attend policy will be applied.

Hygienist appointments:

All appointments with the hygienist are independent of the NHS. Hygienist appointment cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations or failure to attend.
